Celebrate Brooklyn
This week we’re taking a short break, and so this week’s newsletter is a bit lighter than usual.
Have no fear, we’ve got you covered with the best events this week including events from Celebrate Brooklyn! which just kicked off last Saturday!
TBT
Back in the day, 5th Ave was bustling with all sorts of businesses and it’s great to see @theother5th still thriving today despite the challenges of the past year.
As you may have seen from our previous #tbt Instagram posts, there was once an elevated train line on 5th Ave, and cobblestone along the avenue.
We love the advertisements on this wall and it looks like the windows where the ads once were have remained shut through the decades!
Although Bernard’s is no longer here, you can still score some great bargain shoes today at Housing Works. 👞👠 @housingworks
