Leland Eating & Drinking House will celebrate Lunar New Year with a weeklong menu takeover from February 16–22, marking its sixth annual celebration in honor of the Year of the Horse. For one week only, Leland will transform its lunch, brunch, and dinner menus, showcasing dishes inspired by traditional Lunar New Year flavors and techniques—reimagined through Leland’s signature lens of local, seasonal sourcing, sustainable whole-animal butchery, and handmade cooking.
Vato is launching a new series, Cooking with Homies, on Monday February 17th! It will be a space for friends to cook alongside them, celebrating shared roots, personal heritage, and the stories behind the food. They are excited to welcome Yara Herrera from Hellbender NYC as their first homie, serving a special burrito, pastry and coffee.

“Show Up, Kids!” @ ShapeShifter Lab (Saturdays in February, 2pm): This acclaimed, outrageous, interactive family comedy comes to ShapeShifter Lab in Park Slope for the month of February. This long-running, interactive show for kids 3-10 years old puts a wildly comedic twist on the traditional kids’ show.
