FIRST LOOK: New Vendors Coming to Smorgasburg 2026
A preview tasting revealed the new vendors bringing Caribbean-inspired burgers, mochi-style potato balls, pandan desserts, and more to Brooklyn’s favorite food market.
Earlier this week, I was invited to a preview tasting for the upcoming 2026 Smorgasburg season at the beautiful Picnic House in Prospect Park.
Hosted by the team behind Smorgasburg, the afternoon gave us the opportunity to meet the newest vendors joining Brooklyn’s most famous outdoor food market this year.
Smorgasburg officially returns to Prospect Park in April, and based on what we tasted, here are some vendors you’re going to want to seek out early.
Meet the New Vendors
Rogers Burgers

Founded last year in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Rogers Burgers is a popular Black-owned, Caribbean-inspired burger spot at 801 Rogers Ave, created by Haitian-American partners Josue Pierre and Jonathan Pierre-Lafleur.
Their menu includes the Burger Creole (with pikliz spicy slaw and pikliz aioli on a homemade brioche bun) and an Impossible Burger with vegan options. They’re also known for their wings, dipping sauces, and ice cream, and they regularly pop up at the Brooklyn Children’s Museum.
82 Bowl

The 82 Bowl team is serving up three delicious bowls - spicy gochujang chicken, lemongrass chicken, and braised pork belly - with meats packed with flavor from being marinated, alongside a refreshing 82 Lemonade. It’s definitely something I could see myself ordering again and again at Smorgasburg.
Chenzi

Founded by Christina, Chenzi serves authentic regional Chinese comfort food that is naturally gluten-free. Their main dish is Fuzhou-style potato balls, which they describe as the “love child of a mochi and dumpling”.
I came back a few times to try the different fillings - pork, chicken, and vegan - paired with sauces like hoisin with orange zest, sweet-savory gochujang, or spicy oil and vinegar. The chewy mochi-like texture and flavorful fillings were so addictive I just couldn’t help going back for more!
Each order comes with five balls - and after trying them, I wouldn’t be surprised if these become one of the most popular bites at Smorgasburg this season.
⭐ Park Slope Pulse Pick
Pretty Horse

Pretty Horse - a worker-owned cooperative based in Park Slope - has built a following over the past year popping up at Brooklyn farmers markets, thanks largely to their crowd-favorite chicken caesar wraps & fizzy lemonade which I had the pleasure of enjoying last summer.
With za’atar marinated grilled chicken, homemade sourdough croutons, and shredded kale, doused with a generous dose of homemade caesar dressing and rolled up in a whole wheat wrap - this simple concept has earned plenty of fans - and now they’re bringing it to Smorgasburg.
🔥 Likely to Sell Out
Secondz

One of the prettiest and sweetest dishes to get at Smorgasburg is the Pandan Salt Bread with Kaya Toast Ice Cream at Secondz - a reimagined version of the classic Southeast Asian breakfast staple.
Founded by Singapore-born founder Louis, Secondz is inspired by Southeast Asian street food and aims to bring those flavors to a wider audience through playful, modern dishes.
The pandan-flavored salt bread is amazingly soft and filled with ice cream and caramelized coconut flakes. They also offer vegetarian and chicken curry puffs, each packed with curry goodness.
Humos NY

As soon as I entered the room, I spotted the Pork Belly Lollipops and thought - OMG, I need to get that!
The creators behind this lollipop are Humos NY, a popular mobile barbecue venture run by two Latino brothers who reunited in the US after living in different countries. The name “Humos” means “smoke” in Spanish, reflecting their passion for live-fire cooking and what they call a “true meat show.”
No doubt many Smorgasburg goers will feel the same - and trust me, it did not disappoint, with its sweet, caramelized flavor and delightful texture. Though to be honest, I might struggle to finish one on my own.
When Smorgasburg Returns
These are just some of the vendors at the preview - stay tuned for when Smorgasburg will officially return in April, bringing dozens of food vendors back to Brooklyn for another season of outdoor eating.
If you haven’t been before, it’s one of the best ways to try a wide range of local food businesses in one place.
And based on this preview tasting, the 2026 lineup is shaping up to be a very good one.
