People always say that the shop was built for Mom's, and it's not by accident. I have a 1st grader at home, and some of the inspiration for starting RIDER in the first place was from my own Mother. That being said, I love to think about what might make eyes sparkle this time of year. My favorites right now are handmade with a lil' extra love, like this ceramic match striker, this catch-all trinket tray, this lightweight wool scarf, or these delicious salted caramels. And of course, there are cards. For your own sake, don't forget the card!

Jacobsen Salty Classic Caramels
A classic confection made with the Jacobsen Salt.
The very first caramel recipe dates back over 1000 years. We have the French to thank for the addition of salt, and now we think we’ve landed a pretty great version of our own. This recipe starts with the purest sea salt, sustainably harvested from Netarts Bay on the Oregon Coast. We then carefully toast the sugar and butter to a perfect golden brown, before stirring in the heavy cream. The result: a creamy, chewy caramel with bright, briny sparks of sea salt. Best Before: 6 months
6.5 oz box measuring 6" x 4.5" x 2.5".
ABOUT THE MAKER: Founded in 2011, Jacobsen Salt Co. is the first company to harvest salt in the Pacific Northwest since the 1800s. Since then it has transformed from a local, small business to a nationally recognized brand as America’s leading salt maker.
