Jimmy Kimmel is filming a week of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House, marking his return to Brooklyn following a suspension. The week includes appearances by notable guests such as Ryan Reynolds, Stephen Colbert, Public Enemy, Emily Blunt, Jeremy Allen White, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Hanks and Spike Lee. [Brooklyn Reporter]
Openings: Xian Famous Foods is coming to Flatbush and Dean Street! Roast Coffee Shop announced that they will open soon on Prospect Park West. Skin care clinic The Brightwood opens today, October 2nd. Tagliente Studio recently opened in South Slope and does nail art, tattoos, piercings, hair, and tooth gems.

The MTA has announced improvements to the R train service in Brooklyn, aiming to enhance reliability and reduce delays. These changes include adjustments to train schedules and operational procedures to better accommodate passenger needs and improve overall service quality in the borough.
