1) Attend a fall festival

Fall festivities, pumpkin patches, and arts & crafts abound in these upcoming seasonal festivals in Brooklyn:

October 18th: Join Brooklyn Bridge Park as they celebrate the changing of the seasons with live music, arts and crafts, storytelling, lawn games and more—including their signature pumpkin patch— at this free event.

October 19th: Head to Threes Brewing in Gowanus for this free, family-friendly fall festival full of pumpkins and pints. Enjoy festive games, a live DJ, pumpkin & gourd painting, cozy photo ops, and much more.

October 25th: Celebrate the fall season surrounded by some of Brooklyn’s most fabulous foliage at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Enjoy live music, horse-drawn carriage rides, hands-on activities for families, a cider and beer garden, pumpkin-decorating, and more.

2) Enjoy local seasonal bevs & eats

No hate toward hot apple cider & pumpkin spice lattes, but we really love it when local businesses get creative with their autumnal menu offerings.

Luna La Mer’s seasonal menu features an unbelievable Fig & Honey Focaccia (pictured above). Hungry Ghost’s fall menu includes a delicious Honey Vanilla Cinnamon Latte. Beanmonger’s Tahini Maple Mocha are what fall dreams are made of, and if you’re feeling spooky, try No Filter Coffee’s Dracula’s Kiss Mocha. Still craving the classics? Mockingbird Zero-Proof Cocktail Bar is serving a house-made spiced cider made with New York State apples.

3) Cozy up by the fireplace
