Gnocchi NYC will celebrate their Grand Opening Friday, Sept 5 at 5PM! The first 100 customers will receive a FREE Gnocchi Alla Vodka with Burrata. Visit them at 169 7th Avenue between Garfield Pl and 1st St.
Il Leone, a popular seasonal pizza spot on Peaks Island in Maine, will open at 158 7th Ave (in the former Bar Vinazo’s) around October.
Taiwanese dumpling house Formosa Dumplings opened on 43 Underhill Ave in Prospect Heights last week. They will be back this Friday!
Hair removal and tanning spot Sugared and Bronzed will open this fall on Park Place and Flatbush Ave.
Woods Grove, a gift store in Cobble Hill (OG location) & Greenpoint loved by locals is opening in Park Slope at 95 7th Ave, Brooklyn (old Pearle Vision spot).
Mexican-inspired Juice Bar La Merced will open at 86 5th Avenue in the former Miss American Pie spot. Stay tuned for an opening date!
Independent Stationer Mr. Boddington's Studio will open at 153 7th Avenue. Opening date is TBA. Plus, they are hiring!
Ride Brooklyn opened its new bike store at 187 4th Ave Brooklyn.
Pulse Coffee celebrated their soft opening!
Premium grocery store Redberry Market opened in South Slope.
1 of 1 Sandwich Shop opened at 82 5th Avenue between St Marks and Warren St.

The Scavenger Hunt at The Old Stone House is back! This year’s theme is historic food-ways. Brooklynites have lots of favorite foods. Lamp Making Workshop @ Nusprodukt Studio, 12-3pm: Join Nusprodukt studio for a three-hour session where you will design and build a fully functional lamp using a curated selection of repurposed items and natural textiles. Learn the basics of electrical wiring and lamp assembly, no prior experience is necessary. At the end of the workshop you will take home the one-of-a-kind lamp you created! $150 for individual or a team of 2.

Outdoor Cinema at Parklife Presents: 2025 Oscar Nominated Short Films- Animation @ Parklife, 8-11pm: Outdoor Cinema concludes its series with an audience favorite.
