Two years of Park Slope Pulse. Thank you for being here!
Park Slope Pulse started as Park Slope’s first newsletter in Summer 2022, and relaunched on Substack 2 years ago. Since then, our community has grown to 7K subscribers, and 10K combined with our almost-1-year-old sister Substack Cobble Hill Collective.
We’re a small and community-driven team. Everything we cover is in service of what locals want to read about - the independent, trusted Substack of choice in the neighborhood.
None of this would be possible without Mychal Phillips, who I’ve had the pleasure of working with for almost 2 years. She shares her love of the neighborhood in every news update, event roundup, business buzz, and curated neighborhood guide.
Thank you to our contributors this past year, who bring local stories, perspectives, and expertise that make the Pulse what it is today:
Audrey Pettit, Brianna Plaza, EB Atler, Emma Tracy Moore & @rubyinbrooklyn, Ethan Werkmeister, Leda Strong, Morgan DeMartis, Nick Bello, Nick Papa, Randi Rosenblum, Rudy Malcom.
And of course, to you - our dedicated readers, paid subscribers, and sponsors who make this work possible.
To celebrate our anniversary, we’re offering Park Slope Pulse subscribers 30% off annual subscriptions through May 31!
Here’s to another year of keeping locals connected and informed - and hopefully we’ve made you smile along the way. 💛

dream team!!
