Park Slope Super Stoop Day, 11am-4pm: Nearly 200 stoops and sidewalks will transform into mini pop-up markets filled with books, clothes, toys, plants, crafts, furniture and more at this fun event presented by the Park Slope Civic Council. Many items will be free or at super low prices. Over two dozen neighbors will also be selling food and drinks — from lemonade stands to vegan soups and baked goods. Use the interactive map here to plan your stroll, and look out for even more spontaneous pop-up stoops along the way. Visit the Park Slope Civic Council table at the corner of President St. & Prospect Park West for ay questions or to pick up a printed map! FREE.
Dog Fashion Show @ Freddy’s Bar, 2-6pm: This fun annual fundraiser and adoption event with @badassanimalrescue features local artists, raffle prizes, and performances by @flampagne and @eventwice. Bring your pup runway-ready! FREE.

Erotic Open Draw @ Please- An Educated Pleasure Shop, 11am-1pm: Draw spicy nude figure at a sex shop in Brooklyn! Expect several poses with short 5 minute poses to start as a warm up then a few longer 15-20 minute poses. The Old Grains of New York: A Stone Milled Baking Workshop @ Brooklyn Granary & Mill (Nov 8 from 9am to 5pm & Nov 9 from 8:15am to 2pm)*: This exciting, two-day stone milled baking workshop will explain the role of flour in baking: how it is an ingredient in the vast majority of what we eat but why it is the least understood. The goal is to help bakers recognize that grains have identity and origin like any other ingredient; not only are whole grain flours nutritious, they are delicious and fun to work with. This class will be working with regionally grown grains freshly stone milled in Brooklyn. Students will be empowered to embrace whole grains and recognize their value in our diet, our cultures, and our economy.
